Allie Currie:      This blog is a project for one of my college classes this semester. We are required to write and keep up with a political blog. Can't believe I'm saying this about a government class, but I am actually really stoked about the class. Not only because I have an awesome teacher, but I also happen to love blogging.
     One Influence that really drove me to pick Government this semester would have to be my father. He's huge on Politics (strictly republican) and talks their language regularly. What I would really like to get out of the class is definitely just being able to follow him and not just blankly stare and nod my head.
     Voting is another thing I hope to get out of this class. I voted in the presidential election in 08, but that's about it.

     Oh, and that civics and current events quiz? I failed miserably.
